"Why I haven't been blogging" or "Am I being a little melodramatic?"

I think I had this conversation with my dad…

I don't remember the conversation going quite like that...but on further analysis, I guess it does capture the essence. From my perspective, it appears that you are living a rich life, full of wonderful experiences. Remember to enjoy where you are...have patience.

That's exactly how I feel about keeping a journal! But I love to read your blogs and always am glad to see a new post. You have a way of making adventures, big or small, make a great read for the rest of us!

Dad, considering you're not a tiger and I'm not a 6-year-old boy, I thought it captured the gist of our conversation quite well. It made me laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation. Of course I'm having adventures and great experiences, but seriously, when have I been abducted by pirates? Ugh! lol!

Geevz - Yes! Come visit! I have July and August off. If you come and visit, you will fuel my blogging escapades with your upbeat laughter. I still have your friend resume you created for me. It makes me chuckle when I'm in need of a smile. Perhaps that will be my next blog post. Hmm...

As a note, I don't feel badly for not blogging. I'm merely acknowledging the fact that I am going through a period where I am having a a hard time recognizing my life as blog-worthy. I'm sure the creative juices will flow again and that my life will be comical and funny at some point. Until then, I will rely on the comic genius of Bill Watterson and Charles Schultz to make commentaries about my life.

I do have stories to tell, but they're a bit too sarcastic or personal for the blogosphere. I haven't figured out how to blog about my encounters with boys without coming across as heartless. I would certainly die if any of the unmentioned gentlemen were to run across a comical rendition of their heartfelt attempts at courtship. That would be heartless.

Stay tuned for more failed attempts at minding my own business. Spring often brings opportunities for laughter that the dark days of winter diminish.

My comment was longer than my blog post. Is that allowed?
