Books calm my soul, especially when I’m attempting a new adventure. When I needed to improve my swimming skills for my first triathlon, I invested in a book. When I wanted to figure out how to train for a century bike ride, I invested in a book. When I considered starting a blog, I invested in a book. You can imagine my response to pregnancy and imminent parenting: I invested in books.

I’ll be reviewing my favorites while waiting for labor to begin. I’m ready, but I suppose it’s best not to rush these things. She has (6 +/-2) weeks before she’ll make her grand entrance.
